renewing friendships
i was boxing up my stuff, preparing for my shift to melbourne when i found a couple of old photo albums crammed under my bed. looking through those pictures, i finally understood why photos are so important. each one brought to life a different memory, each picture evoked again the long-buried emotions that i had felt vividly at that time. where are those friends now? what are they doing? do they ever look at the same pictures and wonder about me too?
i tried looking them up on friendster and boy oh boy… i’ve found some of my secondary school friends, and even some primary school friends. i’m renewing old acquaintances and finding new friends in those whom i’ve known for such a long time… its a feeling i can’t seem to describe… nostalgia? maybe.
