Saturdays are here to stay… so sings some quirky song playing continuously in my head. What song is that anyway? Oh nvm.

Yupz, saturday was a pretty good day. Went out with my housemate Dee for Subway’s Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion. The first subway we stopped at was at Melbourne Central… they only had 2 bread choices – white and wheat, and we wanted something cheesy so we went all the way to the other Subway near Flinders! Ate our lunch sitting on the steps of Federation Square, staring at St. Pauls cathedral.

"So, have you been into St. Paul’s before?" I asked Dee.

"No…"

"Want to go have a look?"

So there we were, going into that enormous church for the first time. The stainglass windows were amazing! And all the antiques they had…. whoa. The microphone stand was actually a gold carving of an eagle with wings spread landing on a sphere. Actually saw a pillow that Queen Elizabeth II slept on when she visited Melbourne! Now that was far out. The altar was under renovation but even as it is, it was breath-taking. There’s so much more but I’ll blog bout that after I go trigger happy inside and shoot some pics. Words cannot describe the magnificence of such art.

Then, there was the shopping. Always wonderful to go shopping. It makes me happy!

Better than having nothing to do at home, right? bored and shaking legs

Never do things in half measures, I always say. Well… since we’re already out, let’s go Max Brenner! It’s always a treat and this time it was no different.
