Turned into a Mall-rat the past few days – visited Hartamas Shopping Complex (double yawn), Sunway Pyramid, KLCC, Sg Wang/Low Yat etc. reliving the times my bf and I went out "dating". Finally got to eat at KLCC’s Madam Kwan restaurant. I never got to enjoy their fare since I got back from Melb coz the restaurant was under renovation. The food remains just as good, but the restaurant looks fresher and brighter, with splashes of green colour and more lights illuminating the place (maybe a little too well… it’s lost that intimate, rather mysterious feeling). Oh, and my bf says that the prices have also increased.

Raya was spent at my bf’s relative’s place. Rendang, ketupat, lemang and lontong plus lots of other yummy stuff. It was another gathering of his family members… so much more than my own family, and so much more livelier. Talking bout family, my grandpa and grandma’s 80th birthday celebration will be held in Nov 25 … a month away. There’s lots to do, with us preparing speeches, a presentation of their life, gifts for the guests to take home and a dozen other little things to make the event memorable for everyone.
