wat a week *blink*
I’m officially a graduate. Passed up Major Project on Tuesday and Digital Imaging assignment on Thurs. That means, I’ve completed my studies. Finally. At the ripe old age of 26 and a half.
How do I feel? I don’t feel any different. Mayhaps slightly older but there’s been no drastic changes. How funny it is, after all the hardwork and tears, to have the final result turn out so anti-climatic. I’m missing that overwhelming sense of relief, and even that lightness in my shoulders that tells me I’ve got nothing more to worry about. But I do have lots more to worry about! Finding a job, for instance. Working life. Being totally independent. Anticipating all the responsibilities that are going to be piled on me. Suddenly, I feel like studying some more, just to postpone the inevitable. Yet I can’t run away forever. So it might as well be now.
After months of not having a life, of being cooped up in my room, slaving away in front of the computer, I finally got to enjoy some good food and great company. Went for Dim Sum Buffet, all you can eat. It was freaking fantastic! Stuffed my face with all the siew mai and har kau I could swallow. And tou fu far! No where else can one get tou fu far but at a Yum Cha place. Ahhhhh that was heaven. Gluttony at it’s best. Then I satisfied my nasi lemak craving! omg. Changi Airport Nasi Lemak… touted as the best MALAYSIAN nasi lemak in melbourne. HA. They couldn’t even get the geography right. However, I quite liked it. The rice was fantastic but the sambal wasn’t quite as spicy as how I like mine to be. Still, it WAS nasi lemak! So absolutely no complaints.
Had a potluck on Friday with a group of my frens. Wanted to invite more but too bad, my apartment was just too small. And boy, did we had some great food! Thinking about it now still makes my mouth water. *grinz* But what made it a really superb party was the booze and we seriously boozed. omg. Stress just flew out the window as we laughed ourselves silly.

Checking out the food...

the silliness begins!

Group pic - check out all the drunks! LOL
Best of all, my boyfriend would be coming over next month to melbourne. He’s been especially tolerant and understanding these past few months as I struggled to complete my major project. I’ve missed him tons and am looking forward to visiting his relatives in Sydney and bringing him around Melbourne before we pack up and fly home for good.
Yes, it’s been a great week. Going shopping with my housemate this sunday at Bridge Road. It’s the annual stocktake sale. Yes Yes Yes! Hoping to get some earrings for my sister and maybe something special for her 21st birthday.
Oh yes. Life is good.
