You know how sometimes a song just gets stuck in ur head and no matter what u do, u just can’t help but humm it again and again and again and again and… ya, u get the idea.

That’s what’s going on with me now.  *help*  Thank gawd it’s a jazzy song. "Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars… bla bla bla."

Best of all, the amazing woman that is Julie London actually sang a version of this song. She is the epitome of glamourous, voluptuous, jaw-dropping sex appeal. Julie London sang ‘Cry Me A River’ – the song from the 1957 movie ‘The Girl Can’t Help It’ that made her an international star on records. Currently I am fixated with that romantic era, a far cry from the jaded lost of innocence in these times we live in.

Julie London

Fly me to the moon
and let me play among the stars
let me see what spring is like
on Jupiter and Mars

in other words
hold my hand
in other words
darling, kiss me

Fill my heart with song
and let me sing forever more
you are all I long for
all I worship and adore

in other words
please be true
in other words
I love you

(musical interlude)

Fill my heart with song
and let me sing forever more
you are all I long for
all I worship and adore

in other words
please be true
in other words
I love you...

My make-shift Necklace Holder

What used to be a lamp was converted into a holder for my "lil-devil"
which was then used to hang my necklaces so they dun get tangled up.
Thanks mom, u always make my room look interesting.

The only guide to man is his conscience;
the only shield to his memory
is the rectitude and sincerity of his actions.
It is very imprudent to walk through life without this shield,
because we are so often mocked by the failure of our hopes
and the upsetting of our calculations;
but with this shield, however the fates may play,
we march always in the ranks of honor.
