I’ll not mince words here. I’m really getting old. This year I’ll be 27, in 4 more days to be exact, and what have I achieved since my conception? *_blank*
Some things never change, like my deep unwavering love for chocolate and my love/hate relationship with coffee.
Yet some things have changed… to a certain extent – graduating and starting work at the ripe old age of 26, getting tired very easily (i suspect my body’s true age is more like 72 instead of 27), and it’s been so long since I really sang. There was a time when singing was my only escape from stress. Maybe I should do it again. In a soundproof room, of course.
Still, I thank my lucky stars that I am still commitment-free. I don’t have loan installments to repay nor screaming babies to bind me like a ball and chain. I could do whatever I want, if I so pleased. Except move out of my parents’ home. Yeah. That’s a no-no. *sigh*
Is this as good as it gets?
