a good weekend

My parents came down to stay in JB with us from Friday – Sunday! They’ve only just left and I already miss them so much

Took them down to a few places for food… Dad kept raving bout the chicken wings on satay sticks hehehe. Then mom taught me what to buy at the wet market in setia indah to make soup and stuff.

Bought some corn from the market, called pearl corn. Steaming it here…

It’s called pearl cause some of the kernels are white in colour. Absolutely delicious! Even hubby who isn’t much of a corn eater requested that i buy more of these next time

I missed the butter cake from this place. Super old-skool packaging but still incredibly yummy.

And… that’s the cake! Beautiful texture, amazing taste.

All in all, it was a good weekend.
