happy belated new year + a great birthday :)

14 days late but it’s better than nothing right?

It just hit me a few minutes ago that a new year has begun… *wow*…. I had spent most of the first days of jan 2010 playing catch-up with work. After procrastinating throughout most of Nov 09 and ALL of Dec 09, I had quite a lot to do! Even the pics of my trip to Japan are not up on this blog yet – it’s still in progress T.T [UPDATE: jap pics are up! view part I & part II ]

Spent my birthday in KL. Had dimsum for breakfast at puchong with lots and lots of sweet sauce (hoisin sauce), coz u can’t get that in sg/jb. And hong kong chee cheong fun too  Spent the rest of the day at Sunway Pyramid – my old haunt has changed beyond all recognition. They had expanded with loads of new shops… so much to see! i reckon they had at least doubled their amount of tenants. Dinner was a family affair – at my hubby’s cousin’s restaurant called Ginger Tree in Sunway. My favs include the spaghetti carbonara, caesar salad, pineapple chicken and this ice-blended drink that has lychee and dragonfruit in it!

Had a catch-up session with a few of my old college mates at this super cute place called Poco Homemade, opened by yet more of my old college mates. If you’re looking for good japanese food, and are fed up of eating at boring restaurant franchises then do drop by! The food is delicious, and coupled with the amazing deco of the restaurant (both inside AND outside), you’ll never get bored.
