Beautiful details on the packaging

Boss came in with this beautiful orange box the other day. We stared at it, touched it, ‘ooh & ahh’ed over it but never did open it, until this morning. My colleague SJ documented (took pics of) the unboxing. JY had the honours of cutting the mooncake and I reaped the benefits of all their efforts! Hard work guys, thanks so very much LOL

The unboxing of the mooncakes

The attention to detail on the packaging was amazing. Even with the lid open, the mooncakes remain tantalisingly hidden away in small boxes, heightening one’s anticipation. It’s kind of like dining in those fancy restaurants where they have a lid over your plate of food, and the waiter only reveals it with a “viola!” once they have caught your undivided attention.

So how did the mooncake taste? Wonderful. I don’t take the salted egg yolks and they were kind enough to get me a piece without any in it. Loved it a lot, but then again, I have already been partially influenced by the packaging. *grinz*
